• Private Equity – the personal funds of the founder and funds raised from other private equity investors. This funding is primarily focused in early stage funding (“seed funds”), but more mature companies are also considered by the firm.
• Venture Capital – no large funds have been developed, but small focused funds have been developed.  
• Deal size is generally in the $500,000 to $3,000,000 range; larger deals are considered in real estate and timber.
• Primary emphasis on investments in technology and agri-business (alternative energy/biofuels) based companies
• Tax Credits (New Markets Tax Credits – NMTCs) – with sister company MuniStrategies (a partnership between McCreery and Alan Lange).
